For last week we did show and tell about pets. I told the class how to look after a cat.
I made this artwork and my mum helped me with the sewing. It was the first time I used a sewing machine.

This a picture of a bird. I made it on the weekend with my mummy. I used the sewing machine.
I took it to school for show and tell to talk about how to look after a pet. I chose a bird.
A bird needs a clean cage, some fresh water and some bird food.

My mum is working on a princess and the pea painting and I wanted to do make one too. This is my painting that I started on the weekend but I haven't finished yet.
In my painting the princess has found the pea and will be holding it in her hands!
Here is my sketch of the princess with more details. I hope to share my finished painting soon.
Bye from Poppy :o)

On the weekend I spent time with my mum in her art studio working on my new canvas. Its a girl on a swing hanging from a tree. I hope I can finish it next weekend.

I wanted to share one of my pieces of artwork. It is a big babushka doll. Mummy helped me to make it. My favourite colour is pink. I love to make babushka dolls just like my mummy.
I have another canvas. It is an owl. And two more I am making. I hope I can write about them soon.
This post was my homework. I used 6 sight words today. I am in grade 1.
